Still Here
I've been busy doing things and haven't posted. I realize I need to say something. I am working on something personal that is huge and time consuming. I still find some time to knit and to see friends. I'm tired all the time. I had one night where I only slept 2 hours. Yuck. Anyway I am hoping to get some extra rest this weekend but who knows.
Sunday is the NBA All Star game which I am really looking forward to watching since Rajon Rondo gets to be in his first game. And, of course, Kevin Garnett and my beloved "Oh Captain, My Captain" Paul Pierce. Yup, still a HUGE fan of the Boston Celtics. Just wish they could get their act together and win a second half as well as they win a first half. This is the problem when 3 of your starting 5 are getting old (for basketball) and have had injuries. I hate hearing how the Celtics are old and tired but I am starting to think that might be true. I don't think Paul, Kevin and Ray have another year. Maybe but it won't be pretty. Sure wish Doc Rivers would put the starting 5 in for first and third quarters only and let a second team do second and fourth. Eddie House, Glen Davis, Tony Allen. Let them go in. I think if the Celtics are going to have any chance this year they need to rotate and start allowing second team members to play in order to get better to become first team when the Big Three have to retire.
Enough spouting about basketball. :) Time to get ready for work.
