Still Here

Yes, I'm still here. Been knitting and crocheting and next weekend I am going to a conference. I figured I would watch the Celtics game then take my shower, get dressed, do laundry and start making a packing list (or at least think about packing).

I will be doing my taxes soon which is depressing. I pay about 15% of my income in taxes because I'm single and have no deductions. The government loves me.

I have purchased yarn to make something for myself but we'll see. I was going to rip out an afghan I am working on to go back and fix the few stitches that are wrong and then said no. So perhaps I will take that to conference with me since it doesn't require too much concentration. The few stitches that are wrong happened when I went to answer the phone and dropped them and no matter how I tried, I couldn't get them back on the needles going in the right direction. Oh well.

Anyway, I'll have a busy two or three weeks coming up. I don't usually post when there's nothing to post. My life consists of knitting (or crocheting), going to work and watching tv (or movies). Going to the conference next weekend is a change for me. And then I have other things to do the next couple of weekend after that. So I will take the mundane while I have it.
