Sluggish

I am seriously slugglish. The heat here is really bothering me. But let me say how wonderful it is to live in a house with central air! I am cool and can sleep at night!

I'm trying to work on crafty things. Next month I am going away for a weekend which will be fun. And this Friday I am having lunch with my dear friend Alma who is such a talented and wonderful lady! She not only does carpentry but you should see the paintings she has done! WOW! I don't dare ask her if she knits and crochets... she'd be fantasically talented, I know!

Busy trying to figure out my October vacation. I have resigned myself to the fact that I won't see Matt more than once a year. It is truly painful for me. I would love to be able to see as much of him as I do of Den's grandson who lives 3500 miles away. This year alone I will have spent almost 3 weeks where I can see Andrew daily and 3 days with Matt. I have his picture on my desk at work but it's outdated and makes me sad to think I am missing all of his life.

The heat not only makes me sluggish but family-sick. Turn up the air conditioning. Maybe if I get cold enough I won't notice?
