Oh What A Day!!

I am swamped at work and getting really stressed out. I am on deadline for so many things! I am wishing that just once I would be allowed to work a little comp time to get some of the deadline things done. Oh well, if I miss a deadline because there's just not enough time, I hope they understand. I did tell one attorney today that unless he has something urgent, Ineed to put the 6 fires out for the other. He is willing to wait. Good thing. Both have had about 4 new things happening all at once.

So you can imagine, I haven't been sleeping well, haven't really felt like doing much crafting and am feeling like I need a gallon of milk and a HUGE bottle of Hershey's syrup. I am attending a fun gathering at Brooke's tomorrow night which will definitely help.

But you know what *really* made this day for me? There was a shining light, a saving grace. Look here...

An assistant to a stockbroker who I have been working with the last couple of weeks was very appreciative of some extra work I did for her today. I drove across town to pick up a document at court, scan it and email it to her. So she sent me these! How wonderful is that?!? It truly made my day. When I would start feeling overwhelmed I would take a deep breath, smell the gorgeous flowers and was able to plunge back in. I am a *very* lucky lady!

Just a quick post to say I hope everyone has a wonderful easter! I celebrated early last night with a great dinner with David and Dad. Dad's birthday is next month so I need to start thinking about what small thing I can do for him. Besides some chocolate. :)

Enjoy today! It is a beautiful day here in Chico and not too warm so maybe I'll get busy and water the grass because it's about that time of year. Then I won't have to do anything until mid-week.

I'm going to crochet and knit and watch movies today. That's my plan.
