No posting because nothing has been going on but knitting, work and trying not to worry about the future. When I bought gas Wednesday morning it was $3.78/gallon. Friday morning it was $3.90/gallon. I said screw the gas and went across town today anyway. Hit Costco and Joann's and then home to spend 6 hours watering the grass. Between what God and I did this week, it should be happy. Personally I did 11 hours. Not sure how much God did but He helped. :)
Insurance costs are going up another 16% next month which means tightening up the belt. It'll mean using my stash completely before buying new yarn. And stretching the food. No more across town trips on Saturday, probably. I already do most everything on the way to or from work. I go to work, go home, go to work and repeat. I've been saving up for vacation in October and am glad. I am hoping the conference in Pleasanton the middle of next month (Legal Secretaries) isn't too expensive. We'll have to see. I'm sharing a room with Susan and dinner Saturday night is paid for. Oh yeah, Sunday brunch is paid for, too! Just means lunches and dinners on Thursday and Friday. Should be OK. I'll enjoy it anyway.
I wish I could see Ally and Matt. Wish they could come up here. My vacation time is all commited which doesn't help. This is what I get for taking all that time at the end of the year. But I'm going to try to do it again this year. I really, really want to be able to afford to go to see Matt for his birthday and Christmas. And I have to go there... they can't come here. His other grandmother wants to see him for those, too. But who knows where we all will be then. Just take it one day at a time.
But there really isn't anything going on. I work, knit, water grass. Calendar says spring but it's past that already. Wake me when it's September.
