Saturday Stuff

I can't ever seem to motivate myself to post except on Saturday. And usually then it's in the morning. Not today. I went to Michaels and then came home and watched a 4 hour movie I got from Netflix. It was good but yes, long. It was a mini series, I think. It was called "Gettysburg". I was a history buff when I was younger. And that was one of the few historical places I've been where you could really feel the history. And yes, I cried at the Maine memorial. And New Hampshire. I spent my growing up years in both states. Anyway, it wasn't a waste of time but it sure did take most of the day.

I need to find a movie to watch and work on the washcloth I cast on yesterday. I really like the pattern so I'll try to remember to take a picture when I'm done to post to my crafty blog.

It is hot again. I think what is encouraging for me is knowing that it's about the end of July and if I can make it this long, the remainder of the summer, even if it's boiling, I can be ok...half the Chico summer is over.

Still trying to figure out vacation plans for October. And how much time I can really take, especially if Ally will let me visit for Christmas. I like to take the time between Christmas and New Year's. So we'll see.

I'm off to pick a movie. Wish me luck. Over 250 to pick from and I never know what to watch. hehehe
