Yikes!

I just did 3 posts to Crafty Rantings so I'm not sure there's much else to say. I need to get moving to get things done outside of the house now that those inside are done. I've accomplished a lot this morning: 3 postings to Crafty Rantings, 2 loads of laundry and changed the sheets on the bed.

One more cup of coffee and then I can get moving. I need to go to the post office (which I hate anytime except first thing in the morning), I want to go to WalMart but if I go on that side of town I will need to make a list so I do a bunch of things and I want to do some knitting or crochet before going to David's for dinner.

The weather is hot and smoky and miserable. I am having a hard time breathing. I want to be somewhere outside of the smoke, cold in air conditioning and just can't figure anywhere to go. I went to the movies and dinner with Amy last night which we haven't done in a long time. It was very nice. I will eat the leftovers for lunch.

I am beginning to think I need to live somewhere that doesn't have a lot of summer. That certainly isn't here. Or maybe I just need to find better ways to keep cool. It might be time to invest in some kind of air conditioner that I can use with my side-opening windows. This just is so not fun.

Penguin's gotta be able to sleep sometime.
