Rule #37

I love watching the terrible movies on the Sci Fi channel on Saturday. One of the wonderful things the Sci Fi channel does is show these little "rules". Things like, "If it only eats in the dark, stay in the light". Anyway, they are horrifically funny and the rules which everyone should know proved by watching numerous horror and science fiction movies. I am going to go to their website to see if they have a list of those and if not, I am going to start writing them down. They are just so much fun.

Anyway, this morning I am watching one of the old classics that I love which I found earlier this week by using the search feature on my DirecTV DVR. I was wanting to have a Vincent Price movie for the weekend. I'd recently watched the two Dr. Phibes movies and was wanting to see something just as phooey but fun. So earlier this week I had the DVR record "The Pit and the Pendulum".

As I have been watching this fun old movie, I came up with my own rule. I call it Rule #37:

If you need to carry a torch in the house, you probably shouldn't live there.
