Quick Update

I have had a lot things going on internally so I've not been blogging. It looks like I won't be on the board of the Butte County Legal Professionals Association next year, just a member. That's ok with me. But next year I will take a position if they want me. That's when Brooke is scheduled to be President of the state Legal Secretaries, Inc. and I'd be glad to be secretary or such again. Well, I say that but we'll see. With the committee work for that conference I might not have the energy!

I am trying to figure out a way to go visit my mom for a week in May or June. The thing that's holding me back is airfare. It's so expensive! You'd think in this recession they'd lower the prices some to get people to travel. Geez.

My high school class is putting together a 35th reunion. I went to the 30th. I'm fairly sure I'm not going to go unless I'll already be in the area. The same groups who were popular in high school are still friendly and to be honest, I felt like an outsider last time. Like my usual life, it's hard going to a reunion when you're just you (although I can go to the reunion with my brother).

OK, before I get to ruminating about life lately and what's been making me unhappy, I am going to end this post and get back to you later.

Happy St. Patrick's Day. And yes, I'm Irish. But today I don't really feel it.
