June Visit

I just returned from my June visit to see Ally, Sean and Matt. I don't think I'll be able to go again until September because of the way the schedules are working out (they're busy in July, I'm busy in August). It is going to break my heart to be away from them for so long but she has promised to send me pictures and we can chat on the phone (all he does is coo but I dont' care!) so that will help. Matt donned his swimming diapers and swimming shorts and went into the pool with Mommy and I this weekend. Here's a picture:

He didn't mind the water which was really good. I hope Mom and Dad can take him swimming a lot more this summer and get him used to the water. His Mom wasn't fond of the water and I was beginning to think she would never learn to swim but she did.

Of course he is adorable. His parents are working on the exercises to strengthen the left neck muscles and he is better. Even so, he sure is cute, isn't he? :)

I can't help but feel happy when I look at these kinds of pictures. I hope that someday when Matt is grown he can look at these and know that his Grammy loved him very much and really enjoyed all of her time with him. And hopefully I will still be around to enjoy many more years with him. I look at the pictures of Ally and Matt and know that I am looking at the two people I love most in the world. What a lucky lady I am to have the chance to share in their lives!
